چکیده
The Chinese government attaches great importance to climate change adaptation and has issued relevant strategies policies. Overall, China’s action adapt remains in its infancy, research needs be further deepened. In this paper, we study the future adaptive countermeasures of Shenzhen city Pearl River Delta terms change, especially urban flood risk resilience. Based on background investigation Shenzhen, paper calculates annual precipitation frequency from 1953 2020, uses extreme index as a quantitative indicator analyze changes historical impact major disasters previous decades. six kinds model data scenario Model Inter-comparison Project (MIP) sixth phase Coupled (CMIP6), Taylor diagram MR comprehensive evaluation method evaluate ability different models simulate selected are aggregated averaged predict trend 2020 2100. prediction results show that will face more severe threats rainstorms floods future. Therefore, proposes resilience strategy for cope with threat future, including constructing smart water management system promoting development sponge city. Moreover, certain extent, it is necessary realize transfer by insurance system.

Urban Resilience in Climate Change Adaptation: A Conceptual Framework
This study presents a conceptual framework for analyzing urban resilience in the context of climate change. The key conceptual elements of resilience are first identified and then reorganized with a focus on cities and climate change adaptation. This study covers not only ecological and engineering resilience but also resilience as a sociopolitical process from an evolutionary perspective. The ...
متن کاملDiversification of Land Surface Temperature Change under Urban Landscape Renewal: A Case Study in the Main City of Shenzhen, China
Unprecedented rapid urbanization in China during the past several decades has been accompanied by extensive urban landscape renewal, which has increased the urban thermal environmental risk. However, landscape change is a sufficient but not necessary condition for land surface temperature (LST) variation. Many studies have merely highlighted the correlation between landscape pattern and LST, wh...
متن کاملThe future of species under climate change: resilience or decline?
As climates change across already stressed ecosystems, there is no doubt that species will be affected, but to what extent and which will be most vulnerable remain uncertain. The fossil record suggests that most species persisted through past climate change, whereas forecasts of future impacts predict large-scale range reduction and extinction. Many species have altered range limits and phenoty...
متن کاملEvidence for declining forest resilience to wildfires under climate change.
Forest resilience to climate change is a global concern given the potential effects of increased disturbance activity, warming temperatures and increased moisture stress on plants. We used a multi-regional dataset of 1485 sites across 52 wildfires from the US Rocky Mountains to ask if and how changing climate over the last several decades impacted post-fire tree regeneration, a key indicator of...
متن کاملBuilding evolutionary resilience for conserving biodiversity under climate change
Evolution occurs rapidly and is an ongoing process in our environments. Evolutionary principles need to be built into conservation efforts, particularly given the stressful conditions organisms are increasingly likely to experience because of climate change and ongoing habitat fragmentation. The concept of evolutionary resilience is a way of emphasizing evolutionary processes in conservation an...
